Our achievements

The Department of Social Services, as one of the nation building departments of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, is providing services to the destitute, poor, neglected, backward, disadvantaged, disadvantaged, backward and disabled people of the country. By turning these targeted communities into human resources, the Department of Social Services is playing an important role in the overall development of the country by providing poverty alleviation and social security. To this end, 11,624 elderly beneficiaries, 3,173 widows, husbands, abused women beneficiaries, 4,443 indigent disabled beneficiaries, 101 disabled education beneficiaries have been provided by the Upazila Social Service Office, Chandpur Sadar under the Department of Social Services. A bank account has been opened in the name of, all the beneficiaries are being paid the allowance directly as a bank. 4,089 persons with disabilities have been identified. The digital data repository for the elderly, widows and husband abused women allowance and indigent disabled beneficiaries is already almost 100 per cent complete.
