Potential major achievements of FY 2021-22:
Successful implementation of G2P system, providing old age allowance to 11,624 persons, widow allowance to 3,181 persons, abusive women allowance to husband and disability allowance to 4,443 persons and stipend to 101 disabled children.
Incentives and vocational training will be provided to 150 poor people and interest free micro-credit of Tk. 12 lakh will be provided through investment and reinvestment. In order to create self-employment, self-employment, poverty reduction and empowerment of low income people and persons with disabilities.
In order to improve the living standards of special sections of the society especially Hijras, Vedas and backward classes, the living standards of the people will be improved by training 10 persons, special allowances for 50 persons and education scholarships for 189 children.
Accommodation, education and training of 128 disadvantaged children will be ensured through 6 private orphanages.
Measures will be taken to bring them into the mainstream of development by analyzing the data of 3,179 persons with disabilities stored in the central database of the Disability Identification Survey.
