Financial assistance
Provision of financial grant from District Social Welfare Committee
From District Social Welfare Committee, Chandpur one time maximum grant of Rs. 10,000 / - (ten thousand) can be applied on white paper. Attested photocopy of National Identity Card along with the application, proof of the problem mentioned in the application form should be submitted for obtaining assistance.
Grants can be applied for in the following cases.
1. A helpless poor person or family affected by a catastrophe / natural disaster
2. Helpless poor person or family severely affected in road / boat / rail accident
3. Poor person or family affected by fire
4. Medical assistance to a poor person or family with a burn / acid burn
5. Receiving medical assistance for poor people suffering from chronic and complex diseases
. Receiving assistance for the education of meritorious students from very poor families
. Grant assistance to the victims immediately considering the situation
* One-time grant for slum dwellers affected by river erosion
Subject to the allocation received from Bangladesh Jatiya Samajkalyan Parishad, Dhaka, a one-time financial grant of Rs. Beneficiaries are selected according to the list received from the concerned Upazila Social Welfare Council.
